Basically, this a playground of sorts. Think of it as a sandbox where I can try out stuff without having to worry about screwing up the project I’m actually getting payed for.

It’s also something of an ongoing practice session - I guess you could call it a “learning by breaking” approach, which is my version of the better-known “learning by doing”.

About This Site

This site is running version 1.5.1.3 of the WordPress blogging software with a few extra plugins such as Textile 2. The theme in use is a homemade design which was inspired heavily (and by that I mean “I ripped off stuff wherever I could”) by some of the themes showcased on the WordPress site.

The site validates as XHTML 1.0 strict and CSS 2.0 compliant. There are currently a few display problems with Internet Explorer - I’m working on it.

About This Server

This site is located on the Homeworld Community Server, a server dedicated to the online community from the RelicNews forums. The hwcommunity server is financed through donations and gratuitously maintained by deadguy.
